Nightshade is the name given to a classification of multiple plant species that can be found throughout the Minecraft world. Each of these plants have similar appearances and properties during their early growth stages, which makes them hard to distinguish.

Jimsonweed is most commonly found in jungle biomes. The plant produces both seed and seed pods from which atropine can be extracted by processing.

Belladonna is most commonly found in dark forest and flower forest biomes. These plants produce small berries that are toxic to consume due to the amount of atropine they contain. Their seeds and leaves can also be processed to extra atropine from. Due to their similar appearance, these plants can be easily confused for Tomatoes so extra care is recommended when working with them.

Tomato plants are the only member of the nightshade family who's fruits are entirely safe to consume. They do not contain any amount of atropine.
