The glass chalice is the go-to solution for high society and their alcohol consuming needs. Whereas mugs are typically used for beer and other hard ciders, the chalice is more suited to drinking higher-proof beverages like Wine.

Players can drink directly from a cup by right-clicking, however before doing so you will have to first fill it with something either by placing the chalice together with a Bottle of their desired drink in the crafting table, or by placing it in the output slot of any other contraption.
Like many other drink holders, chalices can be placed down on any flat surface with their contents inside them by sneak right-clicking the top of a block, and picked up again by right-clicking the placed chalice.
