Drink Holders - Sollace/Psychedelicraft GitHub Wiki
Drink Holders in Psychedelicraft are a special kind of item (recepticals) that can be used for transporting or drinking fluids. Each one has its own maximum volume and an assigned category of fluids that are preferred for using with those items. Although any receptical can hold any fluid at all, it may be necessary to use the properly assigned receptical to use or craft the fluid.
For more details you can check each item's individual page below.

When crafting fluids in the crafting table, you have to use a container that suitable for that clas of fluid. Drugs go with things that are used to carry drugs, drinks go with things you drink out of, and coffee goes with cups.
Alcoholic drinks have a matching receptical type, but since they are crafted using the vat, they do not have crafting table recipes.
Type | Items | Fluids Craftable With |
---|---|---|
Drinkable (Any temperature) | Shot glass, chalice, mug, bowl, or any large or small bottle | agave juice, cannabis tea, coca tea, peyote juice |
Drinkable (Hot drinks only) | cup | Coffee |
Drugs | syringe, small glass bottles | bath salts, caffiene, cocaine |
Drinkable (Alcoholic) | Shot glass, chalice, mug, bowl, any large or small bottle |
Fluids can be moved from one place to another in three ways. You can send the fluid into either of the Contraptions by placing any receptical into their input, can pour fluid directly from one receptical to another using the crafting grid, or dispense fluid directly from a Barrel or Wooden-Vat.
To pour fluids using the crafting grid, start by placing the two drinks into your crafting table with the one containing the fluid you want to pour on the left, and an empty container on the right.
The crafting result will give you the item with the fluid in it.
All recepticals provided by Psychedelicraft are able to be placed down within the world and has their own 3d representation of the item that you can position, orient, and stack to show off your dedication to destroying your liver (or just to show how much of a great time you had at that party last night).
This function is purely decorative, however the items do retain all of their contents and will render fluid within them in the world, so it is an effective strategy to store any fluids you want around if you don't feel like storing them in the Bottle Rack or risking it changing when you use a bucket to pour it out on the ground.
Do be gentle, though, as the items are easy to knock over! Mobs or players that walk through them without sneaking will cause all the items within the same square to pop off as normal dropped items.
To pick up a placed drink, use right-click on the block with an empty hand whilst looking at the specific one you want to pick up and it will return to your inventory.
As of 1.8.0 (Beta 6) creating fluids in the crafting table no longer requires a bucket of water. Instead you should fill the syringe, cup, etc that you normally use with water.
