Hops are a leafy and tall plant that grows to between 2 and 3 blocks tall and can be farmed to collect hop cones and hop seeds. it is the raw ingredient required to get started in brewing beer within Psychedelicraft.

Hops can be found growing in small patches in sunny and vegetated areas in hills, forests, or plains biomes.

Hops has a total of fifteen stages (0-15) from the time it is planted, and every time a block reaches its eleventh (11) stage it will attempt to expand upwards until the plant has reached 3 blocks tall. When a fully-grown hops block is harvested, it drops 1 hop seeds, and 1 hop cone when between ages 5-15. When fully mature at age 15 it will also drop 1 hop cone and bonus extra 3 seeds.

Hop cones can be added to water in a vat to create a hop wart, the starting point before fermentation. From there the wart can be fermented and distilled to create different alcoholic drinks such as beer, vodka, or whiskey.
