Cannabis is a type of crop most commonly found in forests, plains, and in certain villages. It is a tall crop that grows to three blocks at its maximum height and drops a combination of cannabis leaves, buds, and seeds which can be dried and consumed to get the cannabis effect.

Small patches of cannabis can be found growing in the overworld in colder climates and around hills, forests, and plains biomes. It is rare to find, which may require some exploration before you come across one.

Alternatively they can also be found growing in plains villages where they spawn in hothouses together with the Drug Dealer Villager and its workstation

When a fully-grown cannabis block is harvested, it drops 1 cannabis seeds, and 1 cannabis leaf when between ages 5-15. When fully grown at age 15 it will also drop 1 cannabis bud and bonus extra 3 cannabis seeds. A cannabis crop has a total of fifteen stages (0-15) from the time it is planted, and every time a block reaches its eleventh (11) stage it will attempt to expand upwards until the plant has reached 3 blocks tall.

When high on cannabis, you feel very relaxed. And hungry. Your senses seem to intensify, and you have thoughts that seem genius at first, but pretty idiotic in hindsight.

Mild cannabis effects start with a subtle green hue and can advance into minor visual distortions and waviness at a distance. At higher amounts the green effect is intensified and there is a rare chance of hallucinated entities spawning.

When at high levels of cannabis, the incoming and out going Chat Distortion (if enabled) will be altered to resemble steriotypicale "stoner" speak.
