The Green Hill Zone Boss is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, serving as one of 6 boss fight objects in the game. It is comprised of 3 parts: Eggman's ship, Eggman's face, and the exhaust flame in the back of the ship. The swinging wrecking ball is its own object. Like all other bosses, this object, specifically the ship, is programmed to take 8 hits from Sonic before entering an exploding routine. The level ends as the boss flees, unlocking the screen and clearing the way for the Prison Capsule.
