The Final Boss Cylinders are objects in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in the Final Zone. They are giant solid cylinders that move up (or down), two at a time, in an attempt to crush Sonic. Each time this happens, Dr. Eggman can be found within one of them. Hitting the one that he is hiding in is the key to defeating him.

Subtypes

There are 4 cylinders in the boss fight. Each one has one of the following subtypes: $00, $02, $04, and $06. These subtypes are assigned during the early routines of the boss object.
