The Final Zone Boss is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, serving as the last of 6 boss fight objects in the game. Unlike the other boss objects, this one is only comprised of one part, at least for the boss battle itself, and that's Eggman himself. The cylinders that he hides in, along with the plasma balls he fires at you, are separate objects themselves. Like all other bosses, this object is programmed to take 8 hits from Sonic before entering a defeated routine. The level ends as the boss flees, unlocking the screen and clearing the way for the Ending sequence to trigger. The other parts of this object appear in the post-fight cutscene.
