The Star Light Zone Boss is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, serving as one of 6 boss fight objects in the game. It is comprised of 4 parts: Eggman's ship, Eggman's face, the exhaust flame in the back of the ship, and a tube where spikeballs drop from. Like all other bosses, this object, specifically the ship, is programmed to take 8 hits from Sonic before entering an exploding routine. The level ends as the boss flees, unlocking the screen and clearing the way for the Prison Capsule.
