The Bomb Badnik is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Star Light Zone, as well as the first two acts of Scrap Brain Zone. Unlike all other badniks in the game, it cannot be defeated by jumping or rolling into it in any manner. Instead, it must be avoided. When it detects Sonic, it stops moving and lights its fuse. Once it detonates, it creates a large explosion, launching shrapnel all around itself. It doesn't award any points, generate a points graphic, or spawn an animal.
