The Basaran Badnik (aka Batbrain) is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Marble Zone. Like (almost) all other badniks in the game, it can be defeated with a single hit, creating an explosion, a points graphic, and spawning an animal in the process. Basaran hides upside-down in the ceiling. When Sonic approaches, it falls until it meets Sonic and flies forward to attack.
