Import Excel & co

Update & Insert Glossary from *.csv

EA Glossary is a powerful means to explain:

  • Abbreviations
  • Acronyms
  • Terms you use for modeling & more

The clue is, that EA shows the definition in the Notes field as tooltip.

Procedure

  1. Edit Excel File
  2. Store as Delimiter csv.file
  3. hoTools: File, Update Glossary
  4. Choose *.csv file
  5. hoTools: Update the Glossary (update+insert)
