The Caterkiller Badnik is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Marble and Scrap Brain Zone. Like (almost) all other badniks in the game, it can be defeated with a single hit, creating an explosion, a points graphic, and spawning an animal in the process. Caterkiller consists of multiple moving parts, and can only be attacked at the head. If its body is attacked, the spikes will deal damage to Sonic, and it will break apart into pieces. It crawls along the ground, turning at ledges.
