Runtime Acceptance Checklist - Herbertofury/Advent-of-Ascension GitHub Wiki
Runtime acceptance checklist
Current overall status: AoA completion dashboard. This page preserves dated detailed acceptance entries; old current-build labels are historical, not the current overview.
Updated 2026-10-16 from the owner's real Enderloom worktree. Advent of Ascension is created by Tslat and contributors. This page is the current implementation checklist; the player atlas remains a version-specific reference.
Current facts and receipt hashes · Upstream reconciliation · Progress · Complete checklist intake
Verified local foundation
- Reconcile the current Desktop worktree, accepted source plan and exact local playable JAR.
- Pass complete native server and client acceptance for Forge 1.20.1 / 47.4.23 / Java 17.
- Pass an ordinary signed-in production launch with rendering and measured movement; save and restart the production server.
- Keep vanilla hearts as default and all four optional health modes available.
- Verify the restored four-deity tribute core, its original media and native resource/sync callbacks.
- Verify 21 Minecraft/Forge legacy attribute-name aliases through 525 paired factory/save cases in 25 loaded levels; report unsupported fixture attributes explicitly.
- Preserve all twenty restored historical banners and verify 320 real baked states.
- Re-read the already implemented Coratee texture-getter correction and actual default PNG resolution in the complete native client.
- Compare all 24,103 members of native client/server artifacts; retain their separate hashes and the sole manifest timestamp difference.
These are scoped local proofs. The production observation includes 1,059 rendered intervals and 2.33 metres of measured movement; it is not a full playthrough or performance benchmark. The complete plan retains 862 source recipes and 7,592 applied resource selections. Original worlds, mods and user choices remain. Raw local receipts are retained by hash; public independent runtime reproduction has not been performed.
Current candidate implementation · 2026-10-17
Extraction/Anima implementation and the failed-case correction · Exact evidence hashes
- Write the connected Anima/extraction native source candidate, retaining earlier source and choices.
- Compile all sixteen changed Java owners against the complete actual accepted target classpath.
- Retain the first failed native Anima case and correct its empty disable-marker configuration.
- Pass 96 native exact-XP/save cases across 12 skills and 20 Anima progression/sync cases, plus native growth and pickup checks; retain the later fixture failure and keep whole-run admission open.
- Pass the corrected complete native server fixtures and independent whole-JAR readback for the Extraction/Anima candidate; full natural gameplay remains open.
- Pass the corrected native client, independent every-member comparison and ordinary signed-in production/server save/restart; promote the scoped playable update.
- Complete later Anima variants and all Soul Power/tablet/armour consumers.
These checkmarks distinguish the diagnostic source compile, accepted native scope and ordinary production proof. The accepted v86m playable foundation above includes these verified updates; the complete historical/latest union stays open.
Complete experience gates still open
- Reconcile every accepted historical/latest identity, dependency and feature using verified aliases, not titles or counts.
- Prefer verified modern models/textures/behavior/worldgen for matching content without registering duplicate equivalents; retain unique variants and features.
- Complete Extraction, Anima and every remaining deity-consuming gameplay chain.
- Prove natural acquisition, crafting, XP, costs, AI, combat, drops, boss phases and progression for every accepted feature.
- Prove actual portal/key acquisition, traversal and return travel for every accepted dimension; loaded-world fixtures alone do not close this.
- Prove full historical/latest content union, including unique hidden or unfinished recoverable content.
- Prove Curios, Apotheosis, Cataclysm and relevant Noxviola-pack integrations as optional dependencies.
- Prove multiplayer, existing-world migration, inventories and entity/block-entity extension-data preservation with rollback.
- Prove newest worldgen on new chunks while leaving existing chunks intact; qualify any explicit migration separately.
- Prove equivalent-work performance and optimization across representative gameplay, not just short rendered movement.
- Prove clean complete replay and every advertised Minecraft/loader target through Enderloom.
- Qualify remaining Coratee variants, adult/baby rendering, reload/save/load and a dedicated visual comparison.
- Finish every accepted premium weapon presentation option without making reloads mandatory or losing original behavior.
- Complete public-release permissions, full acceptance and delivery before advertising a finished downloadable merged mod.
Working rule
Keep this page and the full wiki task intake current when a feature changes. Link implementation and native evidence to the exact target and JAR. Keep failed cases visible. A documentation checkmark, extracted asset or successful compile is not full gameplay parity.
Renderer continuation · October 17
The current playable is now the full v87 overlay repair, with all prior content and vanilla hearts retained. Exact bounded renderer checklist distinguishes the 24 OpenGL/24 actual Hari GUI cases and clean standalone production checks from the remaining clean Hari production-seed/full-content/performance gates. The full merge and 2,000 FPS are still open.
Clean Hari production continuation
The subsequent clean production test passes with the exact current AoA JAR and Hari62, native Vulkan required and the documented per-profile LWJGL stack. A normal two-mod dedicated server starts, saves and restarts. The signed-in client renders and moves through a clean production world and passes all 24 actual native GUI overlay cases. Independent verification binds the complete current artifact, captures and 67 complete source/staged/imported world files. The earlier development-seed qualification does not apply to this clean run; the old failure and original worlds are retained. Save migration, representative full content, raster parity, multiplayer, the whole merge and 2,000 FPS remain open. Receipt hashes and limits.
Current Pixon spawning continuation
Whole-policy/native/production acceptance and remaining gates. Current Playtest is updated in place; all existing world/config files and launch choices remain. This does not close the complete AoA merge.
