Extraction and Anima merge implementation · 2026-10-17

Advent of Ascension · Current Playtest now uses the accepted Extraction/Anima candidate in the owner's installed Enderloom. Native client/server, independent readback and ordinary signed-in production testing passed. The preceding verified profile and worlds are preserved. Vanilla hearts remain the default, with all optional health modes retained. This is a playable restoration update; the full historical/latest merge remains unfinished.

Implemented and accepted scope

The complete candidate retains 862 source recipes and 7,592 resource selections. All sixteen changed Java owners compile against the complete 123-entry target classpath; the ordinary whole Gradle build and native runs also passed.

  • 12 skills / 96 cases: exact required XP levels up correctly, including cap boundaries, with complete native skill save roundtrips. Curves, caps, abilities and modifiers remain.
  • Anima: 20 progression/sync boundaries; actual Fragmented Anima Stone crop growth, Forge cancellation/ALLOW, and completed native pickup preserving owner and delay checks. Original item/atlas bytes and the registered renderer are exercised in the native client.
  • Extraction: all 22 original outcomes, 16 dye identities, 14 rune identities and 46 actual empty/full-inventory device uses, including failure and empty-success branches, XP, tribute, bowl wear and inventory/drop conservation. Later stored-lava visuals and the three current-upstream Extraction block additions are retained.
  • Holly Arrow: both actual registered bow/crossbow wrappers preserve canonical pickup identity and addon NBT through native entity saves.
  • Pixon tribute: Survival rejects harvesting below Imbuing 11. At level 11, five genuine harvest units use five bowl durability and award Luxon 25 by day / 0 at night; the newer harvest/loot/health/cooldown loop remains.

All inherited native suites remain in the accepted run. The new client checks bake three item models and both Extraction-device states, decode the complete original textures and retain all health-display choices. No raster-parity claim is inferred.

Preserved bytes and production evidence

The playable JAR SHA-256 is f7a6a96be9632f21f172187e66a2285d9362afed6afd772d5c09a942ae84aa3e. Every one of the previous 24,073 archive members remains; the new artifact has 24,103 members. All 828 inherited sound definitions and 11,415 inherited English/Chinese translation values are unchanged. The native client/server artifacts have identical program/resource bytes; their only manifest difference is the build timestamp.

The normal production server passed startup, native debug ticks, save and restart. A normal signed-in client produced 1,059 observed render intervals and 2.33 metres of measured movement, then shut down cleanly. Independent readback preserves the complete original seed world and mod bytes. This short observation is not a full playthrough or a performance benchmark.

Retained failures and corrections

The native checks caught an empty Anima skill JSON that disabled its player instance and the shared strict-greater XP threshold bug. Both are corrected in the accepted candidate. Fixture repairs use AoA's actual offline login handler, an appropriately aged fake player, real registered weapons and genuine Survival skill admission. The trader fixture searches additional real native biomes while preserving its original placement/weighted assertions. Failed receipts remain recorded; no failed candidate was promoted. Five deliberately invalid proof variants are rejected by the independent verifier.

Still open

Later Anima variants and Soul Power/tablet/armour consumers, remaining deity/dungeon chains, the complete historical/latest identity and feature union, natural full progression and dimension travel, multiplayer, optional-pack compatibility, migration and equivalent-work performance remain open. The original upstream transition warning is still visible; changing its text was not used as completion proof. No finished full-merge release is claimed. Original AoA source/assets and modified JAR remain local; the repository publishes original maintenance tooling and factual progress evidence.

Later same-day renderer promotion

The Extraction/Anima foundation above is preserved in the current v87 renderer repair. Renderer acceptance and limits records the new exact artifact, complete member retention, native GUI state checks and still-open full-merge/performance gates. The earlier v86 profile and worlds remain intact.

Current Pixon spawning continuation

Whole-policy/native/production acceptance and remaining gates. Current Playtest is updated in place; all existing world/config files and launch choices remain. This does not close the complete AoA merge.
