Malia Mesami is a 22-year-old schoolgirl who attends Saint Alancia's where she is in Miss Cuchucha's fourth year class. She is Abbie's sister, and a member of the Popular Girls. She is short and stocky, but not overweight, a trait she gets from her progenitor mother Janette, and has red hair and green eyes, which she has inherited from her natal mother Carmella. She is exceptionally intelligent and quick-witted, which, along with her good looks all but assured her a place in the popular girls, but she has a soft spot for Missy and is constantly saying how cute she is.
Personality
Unlike other Popular Girls, Malia is friendly and helpful. While in the case of Missy, this may be down to her affection for her, it is not known how much of her outgoing demeanour is feigned to further advance her popularity. However, her more human and empathetic nature offers hope for Becky who is a similarly pleasant girl, that she may not be doomed to become as unfeeling as Melanie as she ages.
However, on occasion, Malia has been shown to be bratty, and Carmella alludes to the fact that she is punished at home more than she would care to admit.
Popular Girl
Malia became a Popular Girl during her second year at Saint Alancia's. Being from Honeypot Fields instead of Lady Gardens made accession harder for her, as did the fact that she deliberately made herself less attractive during her first year as soon as she figured out that Miss Boceta abused her power to strip and molest the most attractive girls.
Missy informs the player of Malia's penchant for partying. It's not explained what form this takes, though almost certainly involves acts such as drinking, debauchery and even potentially drugs that even her relatively liberal mothers would disapprove of.
