Janette is a 44-year-old Sapphorian woman. She has green eyes and brown hair. She lives in Honeypot Fields with her wife Carmella and two daughters Abbie and Malia. She is progenitor mother to both girls. She is the more strict of the two towards her daughters, but both she and Carmella are fairly laid back parents by Sapphorian standards. She is very fond of Missy and, like her wife, considers her part of the family.

Work

Janette is a Palace Overmistress in charge of slave procurement at the Royal Palace in Sapphory City. Her responsibilities include negotiation, inspection and ultimately purchasing of slaves for the palace. As head of slave procurement, she has other women working under her who do the day-to-day tasks, and some of which are even trusted to attend auctions and bid in her place, but for important tasks, such as procuring particularly valuable or desirable slaves, she will generally complete these personally, as she is ultimately accountable to the Princess for all of her department's work.

Overmistress is the highest rank that a commoner can reach. This means that she has reached the top of her chosen vocation as in order to progress any higher than this in the Sapphorian Government would require her to marry into the Nobility, which she is unable to do on account of already being married.

She speaks little of her work at home as much of it would be distasteful to her wife and daughters. Slave procurers are required to closely inspect and occasionally "sample" the girls they will be purchasing.

Education

Janette attended Saint Alancia's before studying for a Mistress's Degree in Slave Control at the University of Silka. Upon completion of her studies, she returned to Sapphory City and went to work as a Palace Slave Mistress, also marrying her childhood sweetheart Carmella at this time.
