The Popular Girls is the name given to a clique of girls at Saint Alancia's. Membership of this group is very exclusive and confers untouchable status on those clever or guileful enough to be invited to join. The group is comprised of the most intelligent, ruthless and, usually, attractive girls at the school. They are considered the de-facto rulers of the schoolyard and only the most unwise girls cross them.
