41_Springs

The Springs are objects in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in all playable stages in the standard game mode GM_Level, with the exception of Final Zone (though they can still be spawned in via Debug Mode). They are a solid object, with one side being able to send Sonic in the opposite direction at high speed. Springs can be red or yellow, with the former being far stronger. They can point in all four cardinal directions (up, down, left, right). Due to a quirk (bug?), horizontal springs don't launch you unless you are grounded.
