The Splats Badnik is a restored beta object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Spring Yard Zone via Debug Mode. Like (almost) all other badniks in the game, it can be defeated with a single hit, creating an explosion, a points graphic, and spawning an animal in the process. Splats hops forward on its pogo stick, damaging Sonic if he stays in its movement path. There are plans to implement multiple types based on both the prototype, and Sonic 1 (2013).
