Edit study source code

Usually, you will not need this option. Here, you can view and manually change the source code (JSON) of the study.

Top buttons

At the top right there are two buttons that appear when you make changes to the study: The save button (which appears when a study has unsaved changes) and a button to increase the version of the study (which appears after changes to a study have been saved):

Saving the study

This will save all current changes to the server and will increase the later part (after the dot) of the study version number.

Important: Participants that are already part of the study will not receive these changes unless you increase the study version (see below). However, participants that join the study after you saved your changes, will participate with the updated study.

Note: This button only appears when a study has unsaved changes

Increase the study version

This will increase the former part (before the dot) of the version number. All participants that are already part of the study will receive an update with the newest version of the study.
