If the reward system is enabled, the app gives participants the option to generate a randomized reward code which they are then asked to send to the researcher. You can set up several conditions (e.g. runtime of the study or the minimal number of entries to one or several questionnaires) that need to be fulfilled before a reward code is issued.

Note: To make sure anonymity is not broken, it is important that this code is sent using a channel other than ESMira (e.g. email) because participants usually also need to provide banking details or a home address.

Participants also have the option to create a draft for an email (using their built-in email app). The receiver of that email will be the email address provided in the study description.
