𓇋 𓏏 𓆑 father (like 𓇋 feather/ 𓆑 python) > attav UTU 𒌓 (sic)
𓊪 𓏏 𓇯 Ptah pater Petrus = Saint Peter , sky father > weather

The f component of father was consistently 'lost' amongst many branches of the alphabet:

𓊪 𓏏 𓇯 𓀭 Ptah > दिवि ftvi > ि divi deus sky

𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰 Vatta ( not atta! see 𐌰 alpha and alphabetic-change )

𜎼𜎅𜏧 ᵛAtta father (𜎼 VA < PA 𓊪 )

𓇋 𓏏 𓆑 𓀀 | father | πⲓⲟϯ ↔ ⲓⲱⲧ (p)eiōt (p)eiote < Pjotre
𓇋 𓏏 𓆑 𓀀 | father | ⲓⲟϯ eiōt aita @ basque ⇔ Eidam Adam Alter, Eltern vs 𒇻 UTU≈aita
𓇋 𓏏 𓆑 𓀀 | father | ⲓⲟϯ eiōt aita ⇔ ᚺᚨᛁᛏᛖ haite 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽 haitan heissen father-names bin …

This subtle corruption was noticed by ancient grammarians and may have even been the namegiver of a later misinterpreted 'ï' iota ιώτα ≈ ⲓⲟϯ eiōt.
While today iota often refers to the tiny yodh י dot on top of the ι, turning 'ι' into 'i', originally it may have
distinguished aita from Väter.
