Either orthographically or via some sound change or sign history, there often seems to be cases were

think < *þenc > pense
thick < *þek > paks (Estonian)
thirsty < þorsti > pathadh @Gaelic práha пра́га

this might be an artifact of scholars who were confusing þ for p or it goes deeper to ambivalences of π or old readings of 𓃀𓅡 close to pod,boot,bird

Or it might just be a coincidence
