What to Expect

  • Your final grade is 100% Homework.
    • Some homeworks have "levels," typically A- (90), A (95), A+ (100).
      • You must finish the A- level before attempting the A level, and finish the A level before attempting the A+ level.
      • A perfect submission gets full points for its level.
      • An imperfect submission may get fewer than full points for its level.
    • You can resubmit any homework for full points back.
    • We will go over your homework together in lab.

Reading List

Inclusivity

  • I want this course to be accessible to all students, regardless of prior experience. My lectures will intentionally review concepts like high school geometry and trig.
  • I want all students in the course to feel welcome and comfortable sharing and asking questions. I like answering questions.

Physical and Mental Health

  • It is much more important to me that you are healthy than that you do all the homework.
  • Please follow medical advice on things like concussions.
  • If you are struggling, please feel free to let me know and we can make a plan together.

Office of Accessible Education

  • The Office of Accessible Education is available to facilitate the removal of barriers and to ensure access and reasonable accommodations. Students with documented disabilities or disabling conditions of any kind who may need accommodations for this course or who have questions about appropriate resources are encouraged to contact the Office of Accessible Education at [email protected].
