Husbandry
(For crop husbandry, see instead: Player Goals: Farming.)
The basic requirements to begin keeping animals in Gnomecraft Skyblock games are Grass Blocks and a biome where one or more of the desired animals can spawn. A grass block spawning platform as large as feasible should be built between 24 and 240 blocks away from the area the player spends the most time. Once animals spawn
- :warning: At night, your passive mob spawning platform will also function quite well as a hostile mob spawning platform unless it is lit up. :warning:
- Most passive and many neutral mobs can be fed and bred by using a Feeding Trough.
- Oceans, Rivers, and Deserts do not spawn passive mobs (rabbits may be an exception in Deserts).
- Via the Caracals mod, caracals can spawn in Savanna biomes.
