Selecting data

After loading data, the data manager table on the right half of PyView-gui gets populated, with each row representing on e measurement. Click on a row to select it.

Generating an overview

After loading data and selecting the data of a measurement, click on the button "Generate(new)" in the box "Generate overview images". The resulting overview image is affected by several flags. Here is a gallery illustrating the effect of different flags.

Generating a movie

After loading data and selecting the data of a measurement, click on the button "Save Movie (new)" in the box "Miscellaneous functions". The resulting movie is affected by several flags and Here is a gallery illustrating the effect of different flags.

Transferring data to ILTIS

After loading data, click the tab "ILTIS" at the very top of PyView-gui. Here, click on the menu "VIEW-Related" in the top menu bar and select either of the following:

  1. "Quickly import all data from VIEW": imports all data from the data manager of PyView
  2. "Selectively import data from VIEW": opens a new dialog where you can select the data to import. Select some data and click on "Import" at the bottom.

Save Coor/Area files

  1. Load data and import it into ILTIS (guide).
  2. Create ROIs by clicking on the data in the window "current frame".
  3. (optional) The shape of ROI created can be changed using the dropdown next to "ROI type". If you chose the ROI type "polygon-multiclick" and are facing difficulty, 1 relevant FAQ is available.
  4. Click on the menu "VIEW-Related" in the top menu bar and select an appropriate option among: "Save circle ROIs as COORs for VIEW", "Save all ROI types as COORs for VIEW" and "Save polygonal ROIs as AREA for VIEW"
