Key Types (Balance)

  • In this pattern, the finger positions are almost fixed in relation to the corresponding key. Since there is no so-called "collapse", it tends to be easier to create a chart with a sense of performance. Another feature of these key types is that the grand staircase looks good.

7key

[ Difficulty level chart : Normal / Insane ]

  • With the onigiri in the center, the 7key consists of three keys lined up on either side of the onigiri. The onigiri can be used in various ways, either as part of a staircase or for backing and emphasis like the 5key. It is easy to fit more than three simultaneous presses nicely, and has a wide range that can make the score lighter or heavier depending on how it is used.

9Akey [DoublePlay]

[ Difficulty level chart : Normal ]

  • The form that extends the 7key and has an upper key attached to both is the 9Akey. It is also called "double play" because the 5key can be taken as a key used by both hands. It tends to be used in duets and other songs in which both left and right hands are used.

9Bkey

[ Difficulty level chart : Normal ]

  • The 9Bkey is a horizontal extension of the 7key with the "A, +" key attached. It is more dynamic than the 7key, and tends to be used more often in piano music.

7ikey

[ Difficulty level chart : Normal ]

  • It is an irregular 7key type with arrow keys and Giko, Onigiri, and Iyo characters corresponding to "Z X C". The use of the space key allows for a light arrangement, and the width of the keys allows for a sense of playability. The strength of this key type is that it can be used as 5key or 7key depending on the place.

9ikey

[ Key types database for Taken : 9ikey ]

  • This key type has five 7i character sections. The scrolling of the character and arrow is reversed, and the key configuration looks like it would look good with a configuration that separates the left and right sides.
