The big bad evil guy? The one pulling all the strings. The secret boss of Glass Staff.
Has discovered the secret location of the Rave Echo Cave.
Bunch of happy-go-lucky neer-do-wells with whom Steel Reserve shared a night of revelry and drink. Claimed to be fleeing Phandelin, and more specifically the suddenly dark, scary, and homicidal Redbrand.

It was later revealed that the leader of the Bluebrand is none other than our very own Pankas Dedas Katsewp

The family Dendrar is a powerful merchant family.
Mister Dendrar--along with his wife Myrna and son Nars--was captured by the Redbrand for working with Costco to overthrow the gang. Dendrar was killed, but Myrna and Nars lived long enough to be rescued and freed by the Reserve.
Hiro, having just fused with Talon for the first time, attacked Myrna and sliced her hand open in an attempt to satisfy the blade's bloodlust.
They are both possibly a doppelganger.
A creature (or creatures?) that can change shape.
Yarno apparently had one chained up in the Chesendar caves. Allegedly, it took the form of Myrna and Nars Dendrar in order to trick the Gang into freeing it.
Later, it possibly took the form of Nico and Franko to trick the gang into freeing it again after it was captured by orcs at Wyvern Tor.
It is then possible that the doppelganger, or whoever is behind the doppelganger, is steering the team to Thundertree and, specifically, to the tome of magic found in the Dendrar apothecary.
aka Droopon aka Droopy aka Best Fisty
Brother of Groop and son of Poop.
Frail, narcoleptic Goblin that the gang befriended in the Chesendar caves.
Swore an oath of vengeance to kill Brute, the bugbear who killed his brother. Which basically makes him a Paladin. He already disfigured Brute and cut out his eye. (Which is why he's on the run from Cragmaw Castle.) All he needs to do now is finish the job. With the help of some bigger and stronger allies.
PLOT TWIST: Brute's story suggests that Droop made up that whole story and that he's just a weird little homocidal maniac. Who knows what the truth is!

Idolizes Fisty.

Glom's is the first interrogation from The Gang that any creature has survived.
Current status: unknown. (Last seen cowering in a corner in Klarg's lair.)
Fan theory: Glom and the Dire Wolves are living happily and peacefully in the caves by themselves, fishing in the stream, doing belly rubs πΊπ
His name is Venom Thang.
A rude and greedy green dragon that first appeared in Episode 5, when it kind of toyed and cat-and-moused with the gang for a little while before getting bored and leaving.

Cragmaw defector briefly befriended by the party in Episode 1.

Pronounced Kleenex
Second banana to Klarg. Hobgoblin. Tried to get The Gang to kill Klarg for him. To which The Gang replied, "We can't kill him for you because we already killed him for us!"
Responsible for roughing up Sildar pretty bad.
current status: killed by Dug
previously known as "Unknown Goblin"

Was captured and about to be killed by the Harpers
Nico, half-orc, and Franko, son of Nico, were captured by the orcs at Wyvern Tor and freed by the Gang.
The Gang saw them morph and turn into something ... different as the dipped below the horizon. Yarno said they might be doppelgangers.
Some big ole one-eyed cave creatures that the group dispatched in Episode 8. They could have been bad guys. They could also have just been some hungry dudes trying to protect their chest.

current status: probably drunk off fermented goodberry
Human buddy of Gundren. Maybe his bodyguard? Possibly also our employer? Possibly an employee of Gundren and so our equal?
Held by the Cragmaw for fattening up and eating. Actually did have his arm severed, roasted, and partially devoured by the goblins before The Gang got around to rescuing him.
Suffered a lot of abuse at the hands of the well intentioned (?) group, and finally parted ways with the gang on the way to Phandelin.
Current status: last seen single-handedly approaching Barthen's Provisions
A sentient blade possibly possessed by the vengeful spirit of Aldif Chesendar.
Discovered and given to Hiro during the battle with the one eyed freaks.
Started out super thirsty for orc blood and fused to Hiro's hand. Predictably unfused with his hand after killing a bunch of orcs at Wyvern Tor.
Current status: Flying around with Hiro, seeking adventure and killing orcs
Drow toady to Black Spider. Was trying to buy a map to Rave Echo Cave from Dave Grohl before the gang intercepted it and sold her a fake.
She said she needed the map and Gundren.
Might be a doppelganger.
... it was believed that owls were harbingers of death. If one saw an owl or heard its hoot, someone was going to die. In general, owls are viewed as harbingers of bad luck, ill health, or death. -source
Ducky's familiar. A large snowy owl with peculiar, vaguely skull-like markings around its face.

A fairly powerful wizard and alchemist. Knows necromancy. Ducky is totally a fangirl.
Fisty kind of tried to kill him one time, and Ducky kind of helped him fake his death to get out of it.
