Walter continued to live in the house after his wife died until his own death.

The house itself is now mostly empty. Most of the contents were sold at auction. What furniture remains is covered with sheets.

There have been no visitors and no mail to the house.

Arthur Jenkins was the butler for Walter until he was dismissed prior to Walter's death.

While the house is not humid, some of the walls of the house unexpectedly host water damnage stains.

The investigator's visited on 1 November 1934 but found nothing of interest apart from the water damage stains.
