The Bronze Wrench is nice, but takes durability and brakes over time. A better version offered by IndustrialCraft 2 Classic (IC2C) is the Electric Wrench!

The Electric Wrench, instead of using durability, uses EU, thus, any durability demands from tasks is substituted with EU, but is not a 1-to-1 conversion; 1 Durability is 50 EU. The Electric Wrench is crafted from a Wrench, Electronic Circuit, and RE-Battery. The Electric Wrench has obvious benefits over the Bronze Wrench.

• The Electric Wrench has a 10% Loss Reduction Chance Modifier; 80% becomes 88% success drop rate.
• The Fortune Enchantment reduces loss rate by 3% per level;
  • No Fortune 88%,
  • Fortune I 90.64%,
  • Fortune II 91.67%,
  • Fortune III 94.4201%.
• The Electric Wrench offers a "lossless mode", enabled from right-clicking while Mode Switch Key is being held down, which will prevent loss of a machine. Lossless mode requires more energy if the machine would have otherwise been lost; 50% charge must be maintained in the Electric Wrench for Lossless Mode to function. Lossless mode also has a limit of 15 uses. After 15 uses, the Electric Mode on lossless mode will not save a machine from being destroyed.

The Electric Wrench is used in the recipie of the Precision Wrench, Machine Tool, Lapotronic Upgrade Kit, Fission Upgrade Kit, and Crystalizor Upgrade Kit.
