IndustrialCraft 2 Classic (IC2C) depends on Rubber to craft almost (if not all) blocks and items in IC2C. A Treetap works, but is cheap and breaks eventually. The Electric Treetap is here to fix those issues!
(The Electric Treetap doesn't break, since it's an Electric Tool!)

Crafted from an unused Treetap, Electronic Circuit, and RE-Battery, works exactly like the normal [Treetap]] (in that it can tap Sticky Resin from Rubber Wood) with a few additional features; the first being that it runs off EU. The Electric Treetap is a Low-Voltage tool, and can be charged in a [Batbox and up; additionally, it can be charged from an equipped utility, such as a Batpack, Industrial Belt, etc.

The Electric Treetap can also be upgraded using a Hopper and Basic Import Upgrade (in Crafting) to have tapped Sticky Resin added directly into your inventory, instead of flying all over. This is a very helpful and ideal upgrade to add to every Treetap.
