The Sliding Metal Bar is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Scrap Brain Zone Acts 1 and 2. It is linked to a switch ID, and if that switch is hit, the bar will move out and stay in place briefly, before retracting.

This was once a subtype of the SBZ Stomper object in Sonic 1, along with SBZ3's Large Sliding Platform.
