The Rising Platform is an object in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in Labyrinth Zone, as well as Scrap Brain Zone Act 3. When stood upon, this platform sinks momentarily, before suddenly rising. It is often found in depressed areas where spikes loom far above, posing as a crushing hazard.

This object was once a subtype of Object 56. It also has a collision bug from the original game which allows Sonic to jump straight through it.
