Valan's Quarters at Camp Theod
- Sir Aaron Colesmith is who we are supposed to talk to in Earl Darcy Valan's quarters.
- Earl Darcy Valan is poisoned and unconscious.
  - He was hit with an arrow coated in wyvern venom.
  - Earl Darcy Valan's condition is not improving.
  - Usunaar knows where a remedy can be found.
- Man in brown robes attending him: Father Cyne
- Sir Aaron Colesmith complains of Namarro'dar attacks.
- Elzaren dumps a lot of info on him:
  - Blackswords/Goblins
  - Undead attack at Our Lady of Wonder
  - Namarro'dar attack on the road and Mirophir aiding the Rotclaw Gnolls
- Namarro'dar of the Inkwoods have had animosity towards Furion's Crossing since they razed it 40-50 years ago.
  - They were allied with Goliaths and that relationship turned sour.
- Sir Aaron Colesmith knew Edarin the Seer as a hermit who came to town occasionally.
- The party has in-out privileges in the camp.
- The party shows Sir Aaron Colesmith where the Rotclaw Gnolls are on our map.
- There is a ruined tower there where they might be: the Broken Spire.
- The camp was established for Star Metal. Shayford Mining Company is extracting it.
- There is also a tribe of Firbolgs in the southern Inkwoods.
Shayford Mining Company HQ
- Usunaar is talking to Umud the foreman and his right hand man Ames.
- (Elzaren was not present for this conversation)
- Star Metal is strong and light.
Work Camp
- A young man Hamut approaches us asks if Umud sent the party because there's trouble at the mines. Men going missing or dead. Equipment missing. Umud is keeping a lid on it. Men are being visited in the night by apparitions asking them to "give something back". One of the shafts has been closed.
Trading Stalls
- The party goes to find Robert the tiefling. He sells Ibex pelts and horns.
- Magfeel decides not to attack him after a coin toss and lengthy conversation about Ibex.
Tavern Tent
- Elzaren buys a round for ~20 dudes
- A wind blows out the bar tent light
- Seems to be some sort of discord
- Elven Ghosts surround the camp, repeating "Return to us the head of King Zirris".
- Magfeel senses the presence of undead, but it stops where the mines are.
- Usunaar senses something desecrated in the Shayford Mining Company building. Ames doesn't want him in there.
- Umud wants to talk to us about the haunting.
