Biography
Beckett was the Hex-Triad calibration specialist on his shift, responsible for keeping the six C-2500 units in nanosecond alignment. He joined Parafield in 1981 straight out of Meridian Technical Institute and built a reputation for catching symmetry drift before the instruments flagged it.
He was one of four personnel who entered the reactor environment during the October 1987 Thermal Runaway and manually ejected all four fuel cells within the synchronization window after the failed primary SCRAM. The ejection stalled the reactor and saved the superstructure.
He was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition. No further records have been recovered.
Personality
Meticulous to the point of superstition about calibration rituals. Quiet in meetings, loud during drills. Trusted Moreau's calls without question.
