Description

Scutching Knife is a wooden tool used especially for dressing flax Flax.

Recipe

A Scutching Knife is create by Woodworking a Board. A drill is required to make a hole at the tip of the blade.

Scutching Flax

Place Broken Flax Stalks on vertical thick log to create Processing Surface and then right click while holding the Scutching Knife to break the stalks.

Notes

• A wooden pole can be used to scutch broken flax stalks at speed penalty.
• The purpose of the hole at the tip of the blade of a Scutching Knife is uncertain.
