Description

Bark comes from peeling logs, duh.

Recipe

Corresponding bark may be acquired when a log of wood is peeled with an Adze. The log can be regular or chopped, both freshly felled or seasoned in a Wood Pile. Peeling seasoned logs produces bark at a higher rate.

Usage

Any bark type can be simply burned in a Firepit, but some types of bark have more meaningful use.

Extracting Tannin

The bark of some types of trees contains tannin which can be extracted much like it can be extracted from logs in a barrel or large vessel, although the recipe is not identical. In fact, you will need 16 pieces and a barrel full of fresh water or equivalent ratio. The list of trees is identical.

Extracting Fibers

The inner bark of some trees is made of fibrous material that is suitable for making cordage.

Soak suitable bark in a barrel or large vessel containing fresh water to acquire Bark Fiber.

Future Enhancements
