[Cubic]] Nextfare on DESFire is normally distributed as a [fully locked card. This is typically used for re-usable cards.

Systems include:

Breeze silver cards (Atlanta, GA, US)
Compass (Vancouver, BC, CA)
PATH SmartLink
Ventra (Chicago, IL, USA) - reusable cards with 19-digit card numbers (might be a custom Cubic system)

These cards are largely unsupportable.

Serial number

They have 16 digit serial numbers starting with 0164. This is derived as follows:

Digit positions	Description
0 - 3	Always `0164`
4 - 14	Bytes 1 - 7 of the card's UID, as big endian integer
15	Luhn check digit
