Shortcut to my custom personnal and 1idweb branded plugins hosted on GitHub.

  1. JetPack

  3. File Manager : Allow uploads/downlods within the theme using an FTP protocol from within the admin dashboard for any loged-in users that have the priviledge.
  4. Health Check & Troubleshooting : This plugin will perform a number of checks on your WordPress installation to detect common configuration errors and known issues, and also allows plugins and themes to add their own checks.
  5. PHP Compatibility Checker
  6. What The File displays the php template file used for a page when login Dashboard.
  7. WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin)
  8. WP Component : This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress.
  9. Wp Migrate DB : Powerfull back-up available under the « Tool » from the dashboard menu.

  3. Contact Form 7 : This can manage multiple contact forms, it is compatible with WPML, plus you can customize the form and the mail contents flexibly with simple markup. The form supports Ajax-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, Akismet spam filtering and so on.
    • Contact Form 7 Shortcode Enabler This plugin enables the usage of external shortcodes inside Contact Form 7 Forms. Allowing advance layout possibilities like multi-column form.

Schema.org within your theme

I did NOT tried (yet) to integrate « SCHEMA.ORG » using Wordpress plugins so I can not recommand one product over an other. But I worked at coding rich snippets within dynamique pages before and I can tell that it's a delicate process that requires to ALWAYS validate your markup (using Google Search's Structure Data Testing Tool).

  1. Amazon AI Plugin (AWS for Wordpress) : Read WordPress pages through Amazon Alexa devices. Read more

  3. Classic Editor : By default, this plugin hides all functionality available in the new « Gutenberg » Block Editor.
  4. Google Site kit : This one I've not tested yet! It provides authoritative, up-to-date insights from multiple Google products (Analytics, Tag Manager, etc) directly on the WordPress dashboard for easy access, all for free. Read webmasters post about the lanch in 2019. Documentation is available here.
  5. Simple History shows recent changes made within WordPress, directly on your dashboard or on a separate page.
  6. User Switching : Quickly swap between user accounts in WordPress at the click of a button.
  7. WordPress SEO Plugin – Rank Math : This plugin support the Schema.org snippets mentioned below - Youtube tutorial here
  8. XML Sitemaps : Use this plugin to greatly improve SEO to create special XML sitemaps which will helps SEO robots (Google, Bing, Yahoo!) to better index your site.

 

Adds features to themes

  • Add Descendants As Submenu Items by Viper007Bond
  • Link Manager : This plugin will enable the External Links, also known as Blogroll) feature within your theme. This feature is SO useful to allow the theme editors the liberty of managing partnership visibility with associations, memberships or accreditations of a corporation. These links can be put into categories, imported, exported, added, deleted, and edited. Those helps acheive better ranking in search engine bots (SEO). Here a tutorial on how to manage links.
    • OR if you don't like depending on plugins, just add this to functionc.php : add_filter( 'pre_option_link_manager_enabled', '__return_true' );
