Filters allow you to define which channels should appear in the Mapping page.
M3U Group Title Filters
If using an M3U Group Title Filter, give your filter a name, a simple description and then select what Group Title will be controlled by the filter.
If your playlist contains many different group titles, you will need a filter for each group title in the playlist, assuming you want to use every channel that the playlist has to offer.
Alternatively, you can pick only the group titles you want and ignore the rest. Group titles that haven't been included in a filter within Threadfin will not show up in the mapping tab.
Once you have set up the filters, you will notice that any channel in the M3U playlist that has thr group title ID matching what you selected in your filters, will now be marked in the list of Active Streams on the left side of the page.
Any channel that has not had a filter set up for it will remain in the Inactive Streams list on the right side of the page.
Your next step after configuring your filters will be to head to the Mapping page where you can selectively enable/disable channels that will be included in your final Threadfin m3u file.
