Target

Adds one or more items to a token, and linked actor if available.

Use this to directly target an entity to receive an item; the following entity types are able to be targeted.

Triggering Token

Use this to add the item to the triggering token.

Tokens Within Triggering Tile

Use this to add the item to the tokens within the triggering tile.

Player Tokens

Use this to add the item to all player tokens on the scene.

Current Tokens

Use this to add the item to the current token collection.

Use Tagger

Use this to add the item to all tokens with a Tag matching your Use Tagger settings.

Use this to directly target an entity; the following entity types are able to be targeted.

  • Items in the directory or within a compendium.

Current Action Collection

Adds any items from the current action collection to the selected tokens.

Items From Roll Table

To do this, add this action following a Roll Table action. If the table's results are items, they will be added to the collection and distributed.

Currency From Roll Table

To do this, add this action following a Roll Table action. If the table's results are text entries formatted {"gp":"4d20"}, they will be added as currency. D&D 5E

Quantity

Set to blank to use the item's original quantity. If the item is a type that has no quantity field, such as Features or Backgrounds, this field needs to be left blank.

Distribution

  • Characters get a copy of all items
  • Characters get a single item
  • All items distributed amongst characters
  • Evenly distributed, leftovers are passed on

Use Player

Routes the Add Item action through the player so they are technically the user adding the item. This can be used with Automated Animations and Sequencer to apply animation macros as that player instead of as the GM.

Notes

  • If the module setting Drop Items on Canvas is enabled, you can drag items from the directory or a compendium onto the canvas to create a tile that will add the item when triggered; it will be created with the same image as the item.
  • This action doesn't work in Starfinder due to their code.
  • This action isn't supported in any of the various Build-a-Systems.
