A point that rides along a curve - t is a fraction (0-1) on a segment, an angle (radians) on a circle or arc, a distance along a ray, or a signed distance along an infinite line.

- Curve (curve): the host the point rides on: a segment, ray, infinite line, circle, or arc.
-
t (number, editable): where along the host the point sits. What
tmeans follows the host, matching the modeling-view glider exactly:- Segment: a fraction from 0 (start) to 1 (end).
- Circle or arc: an angle in radians.
- Ray: a distance from the ray's start.
- Infinite line: a signed distance along the line from its anchor (either direction).
-
Point (point): the point at
ton the curve. One point per curve; wire a list of curves, or drivetfrom a Slider, to sweep many.
Pins a point onto a curve so it slides along it instead of sitting at a fixed spot. The node-graph version of a glider.
The catch is that t means different things on different hosts, and the socket list above spells out which. Wire it to a Slider and drag: whatever the host, you will see straight away which end t is counting from.

- In the modeling view: Point: On Object - place the same gliding point directly on the canvas.
-
Convert to Nodes emits this node when it rebuilds a glider; the
tvalue comes out as an outside Slider, so the point stays adjustable. - For a point riding an ellipse, see Point on Ellipse: an ellipse has no analytic curve to ride, so it takes the three axis points instead.
