Turn a pile of crossing curves into every enclosed region at once - the automatic sibling of Region.
Category: Combine | Add menu: Combine > Auto Region
- Geometry (any): the curves to close into regions. They needn't meet end to end: a realized tiling, a net of crossing lines, overlapping shapes - anything with enclosed areas.
- Tolerance (number, editable): endpoints closer together than this are welded before the faces are found (default 0.001).
- Regions (region): every enclosed face, each handed back as its own filled region.
Where Region: Curves needs a single, tidy closed loop, Auto Region takes a messy pile of curves and finds all the regions in it automatically. It nodes every crossing (splitting curves where they meet), welds endpoints within Tolerance, and returns every enclosed face as its own filled region. Curves that dangle and bound nothing are ignored, and arcs stay arcs - no sampling.
It's the same operation as the modeling canvas's paint-bucket Fill, except it hands back all the faces at once instead of just the one you click.

- Region: Curves: the manual sibling: one closed loop of edges -> one region.
- Group by Shape: sort the resulting regions into groups of the same shape.
- Regions & booleans: the modeling-view Fill and the region model.
