Angle node icon   Angle (node)

The interior angle at a vertex between two arms (Vertex->A, Vertex->B), in degrees 0-180; same units as Rotate's Angle.

A vertex with two arms A and B, the interior angle marked with a number purple arc and read out as 58 degrees.

Inputs

  • Point A (point): the end of the first arm.
  • Vertex (point): the corner the angle is measured at.
  • Point B (point): the end of the second arm.

Outputs

  • Angle (number): the interior angle in degrees (0-180).

What it is for

Wire three points and read the corner between them. Useful when a later step needs a number rather than a shape: feed it into Rotate, or into Math to work out a step angle from geometry you have already drawn.

It reads one point from each socket, the first, so a list of points gives you a single angle, not one per item. With any socket empty the output is 0.
