If the BarActiveGroupBorderColor functionality is enabled then the colour of the bar border (as well as the gap separators) will be that of the currently active group of clients.

In practice this means that the bar border colour depends on what layout is used and whether the currently focused client is in the master or stack areas as well as the arrangement that area has. Comparatively the BarMasterGroupBorderColor functionality will only update the bar border colour based on the master group of the current layout.

If the BarBorder functionality is disabled then BarActiveGroupBorderColor will only affect the gap separators of the bar.

If both BarMasterGroupBorderColor and BarActiveGroupBorderColor functionalities are disabled then the bar border will have the border colour of the SchemeNorm colour scheme.
