A variety of protection symbols drawn onto the walls of the Joy Grove Sanitorium by Henslowe and Job
Researching the symbols at a library found they came from a variety of religions, some of ancient origin. They consist of symbols to prevent the evil eye and to prevent being watched by unspecified enemies. Whike it appears Henslowe and Job went for quantity over quality by employing so many, it is possible that fervent belief in a particular symbol might offer some form of protection to the believer.
These are related to the Water Damage Stains in that Henslowe identified the water damage symbol as "watching" him.
a piece of stone bearing one of these symbols from the Aksum Empire was found in the lockbox containing Henslowe's Notes at his estate.
