Holidays

The INSTITUTION > Holidays option allows you to view the holidays of the selected institution. A holiday may be:

• Holiday: A single day. Written in red on the calendar.
• Non school period: A vacation period of one or more days. Written in purple on the calendar.

You can sort the list of holidays by the name of the place or by start date (default option). To change the sorting criteria, click on the header of one of the two columns.

Edit

Institution administrators and system administrators can edit the holidays of the current institution by clicking on the Edit icon (pencil) in the upper left corner.

When you click on Edit, a Holidays box appear that contains:

• A first box that allows you to add a new holiday by filling in the following columns and then clicking on the Create holiday button:
  • Place. All places / one of the places in the institution.
  • Type. Holiday (written in red on the calendar) / Non school period (written in purple on the calendar)
  • Start date. Year, month and day.
  • End date. Year, month and day. Same as start date when type is Holiday.
  • Holiday. Name of the holiday. For example: "New Year's Day", "Christmas"...
• A list that allows you to edit the existing holidays. You can change any of the columns.

To remove a holiday, click on the Remove icon (red trash can). No confirmation is required.
