The Rubble tile is a remnant of a destroyed populated tile such as a City or Industry tile. The Rubble tile itself is indestructible and cannot be built upon.

The Rubble tile is harmful to the growth of nearby City, Town, Farm and Outpost tiles.

During the Autumn weather phase, a Rubble tile emits 1 Chaos.
