Rotting log - ZAWA-Evolved/ZAWA GitHub Wiki

Rotting logs are decorative blocks.

Rotting logs appear as hollow, fallen logs with dirt, grass, or another substrate inside. These blocks generate naturally* as part of fallen trees in forest, taiga, jungle, dark forest, and savanna biomes.

When broken, each block has a 10% chance to yield 1-4 feeder insects by default. With a Fortune-enchanted tool, this chance increases to 14% at Fortune I, 25% at Fortune II, and 100% at Fortune III.

  • Acacia rotting logs drop termites.
  • Birch rotting logs drop earthworms and leafcutter ants.
  • Dark oak rotting logs drop earthworms and mealworms.
  • Jungle rotting logs drop termites.
  • Oak rotting logs drop earthworms and mealworms.
  • Spruce rotting logs drop earthworms.

Rotting logs can be placed in animal exhibits to create realistic hiding places, climbing structures, and nests. They can be waterlogged. Aquatic plants can be placed on them.

Rotting logs can be crafted with 2x Logs of their type and 1x Dirt.
